Building a home with the intent of reaching a net zero energy balance and low environmental impact as much as possible in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Do you plan on having a garden? You could use some for stakes or make some planters.Dawn
What about a vertical application, such as creating a feature wall in your garage?Dawn
Well, you know that I'll always take them off your hands... the vertical application came to my mind, too. I could see the entire little bathroom up there with the wood going up behind the sink and toilet and onto the ceiling.
Wainscotting, interesting idea Jim. I wonder if there is enough though to do the entire room.lol, well Dawn you spoiled our surprise... but wrong location-- still, maybe Shafraaz will consider your proposal :P And Tyler, you are almost on the same page as Shafraaz. But let's not get too crazy, that flooring is thick stuff and the tiny water closet is a tight fit as is! I'll let Shafraaz speak for himself, but I think the leftover pile is the real scraps after the loft feature wall is created... on the outside of the bathroom. No other details for now ;-)
Oh, and Tyler, Shafraaz has used a different material (oooh the suspense) as a back-splash in the loft bathroom. At the moment it is more of a wainscotting but may be continued up the wall behind the sink because it kind of looks funny as is.
lets make some jewelery :)
