The simple answer is no, we did not insulate the subfloor. That is because the heat loss to the floor below is still in the tempered space. It is only the heat loss to the outside that is a problem.Shafraazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12680723864772294621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533703094188189176.post-75653168389445950212011-01-30T11:21:02.649-07:002011-01-30T11:21:02.649-07:00I would love to know how or if you insulated the s...I would love to know how or if you insulated the sub floor? We are about to pour concrete on our main floor tomorrow and are on the fence if we should be insulating to avoid any 'heat loss' to the lower level.RobynOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17781118763851103177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533703094188189176.post-86318624983669383552010-11-02T21:59:09.890-06:002010-11-02T21:59:09.890-06:00That was a long day. I biked by before the walls went up and would like to do so again soon. Not a single road to cross from my house in Mill Creek to yours. Sorry I missed your call for concrete helpers. Maybe the concrete guy was nervous knowing how much concrete ends up left in the pump and the boom, and past experiences of people running out.Philip Meesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533703094188189176.post-50931956267367222482010-11-01T08:52:44.452-06:002010-11-01T08:52:44.452-06:00I just hope you're available when we build our...I just hope you're available when we build our house.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09458370869831682293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533703094188189176.post-36625277482673185792010-11-01T07:52:44.550-06:002010-11-01T07:52:44.550-06:00Trust me, I'm FAR from being an expert.
